General Questions

Is Eve Day free?

Yes! Eve Day is completely free with no subscription required. There are no ads, no premium features behind a paywall, and no in-app purchases. All features are available to everyone.

Is my data really private?

Yes! All your data is stored locally on your device. We don't have servers that store your health information, and we can't access your data. Even the AI predictions happen entirely on your device. Learn more about our privacy approach.

Do I need to create an account?

No account required! Just download and start tracking. There's no email verification, no social login, no sign-up process at all.

Does Eve Day work offline?

Yes! Eve Day works completely offline. You never need an internet connection to log symptoms, view your calendar, or get predictions. All features work in airplane mode.

Cycle Tracking

How do pain predictions work?

Eve Day uses on-device machine learning to analyze your logged patterns - cycle phase, sleep, stress, symptoms, and more. Over time, it learns YOUR unique patterns and can predict when you might experience pain up to 7 days in advance. The more you log, the more accurate it becomes.

Why isn't my prediction showing?

Pain predictions require at least one complete cycle and several days of logged data. Make sure you've logged a period start and at least 3-4 days of symptoms. Predictions will appear once the AI has enough data to learn your patterns.

The prediction was wrong. What should I do?

Keep logging! Eve Day learns from the difference between predicted and actual pain. If the prediction is off by 3+ points, you'll see a feedback prompt. Your feedback helps the AI learn your patterns faster and improve future predictions.

I have PCOS/endometriosis/adenomyosis. Will Eve Day work for me?

Yes! Eve Day has condition-specific prediction models. During onboarding (or in Settings), select your health condition. Eve Day will use a specialized model trained for your condition's unique patterns. Learn about PCOS tracking or endometriosis tracking.

Fertility Tracking

How do fertility predictions work?

Eve Day uses multiple signals to predict your fertile window: LH test results (40% weight), BBT temperature readings (30% weight), cervical mucus observations (20% weight), and calendar-based estimation (10% weight). The more signals you track, the more accurate your predictions. Learn more about fertility tracking.

When should I take my BBT reading?

Take your basal body temperature first thing in the morning before getting out of bed, ideally at the same time each day. Eve Day can remind you with a daily notification. Readings taken after 10am may be less accurate.

How accurate are the conception probability percentages?

The conception probabilities are based on peer-reviewed research about fertility timing. However, actual conception depends on many factors including both partners' fertility. Use these percentages as a guide, not a guarantee.

How do I activate pregnancy mode?

When you log a positive pregnancy test, Eve Day will offer to switch to pregnancy mode. You can also activate it manually in Settings. Pregnancy mode tracks your due date, trimester progress, and pregnancy-specific symptoms.

Data & Privacy

Can I export my data?

Yes! Go to Settings to export your cycle data, symptoms, and AI model information. You can also generate PDF health reports to share with your healthcare provider.

How do I connect Apple Health?

Go to Settings and find HealthKit Integration. Toggle on the data types you want to share. Eve Day can read sleep and activity data to improve predictions. All HealthKit data stays on your device.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual entries within the app. To delete all data, simply uninstall the app - all local data will be permanently removed. There's no server data to worry about.

Is my data backed up?

Eve Day data is included in your iPhone's iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled. This backup is encrypted and controlled by Apple. We don't have access to it.
